Billy Bob's exterior screams burger dive, but the decor seems to be a mismatch of Hawaiian influence with the bar having the sleek look you would expect. Our Valentine's dinner consisted of a Texarkana burger and French Dip. We opted for the Cajun Tots which were fried to perfection with enough seasoning to bring flavor without losing that potato taste. My burger was nicely cooked to a beautifully moist well done, and my girlfriend's french dip was nice and meaty. I can't wait to try some of their other burgers in the future. Only reason it's not getting 5 stars is because I didn't get an option for medium rare for my burger.
I went to Billy bobs today and got it burger and split it with my daughter.. the place was dirty : My table was sticky: When I ordered my burger I let the waitress know that I was sharing it with my daughter, you would think that they would serve it cut in half but they did not .! it was so messy. although they have little play castles inside to keep my 2 year old entertained while we're waiting for food that was cool The bathroom was gross!!
Well they tanked my open by having a sign that says they're open until midnight, but actually they close at 11pm on Sunday's... When I mentioned it to the girl at the bar after she told us they were closing she said yeah the signs are wrong... Then why doesn't someone fix it?!?! Annoying to say the least... Not sure I will go back again... Oh and did I mention the open sign was still on?
I 've only been there once. But it was a large birthday party, something like 14 people. The staff was great, kept the drinks going and split up our bill at the end, very patient and accommodating. I sampled a lot of friends dishes and everything I tried was fantastic. The place was clean and had a fun atmosphere, there 's even an arcade! Another cool feature is that they have pool tables and more of a bar like section in a large room off of the main bar, so you don 't have to be in the main dining area if you are just there for drinks. I 'm also a huge fan of this No gang colors not patches sign that some reviewers are complaining about. I don 't want to be around gang bangers or trashy motorcycle club types, have you ever met a Gypsy Joker? Those guys are an obnoxious nightmare! I 'm sure that sign exists for a reason. Good for them, keep the trash out and let the normal people enjoy themselves. This would be a five star review, but that no MMA rule is BULLSHIT! And it will likely keep me from coming back, someone please let me know if that changes.
My co workers and I went there for lunch to celebrate a birthday. We won 't be back. Service: We stood at the door waiting to be seated for a good five minutes until the server finally came over and told us to seat ourselves. It then took her another 5 minutes to bring menus (even though she took an order at a table near us and walked by with the menus, she later came by to ask us if we wanted menus). She had no idea what hoppy meant when referring to beer. When she delivered our food, she brought no silverware. When one of us got up to ask for steak knives and sliverware, she brought it over to our table and said something to the effect of, I 'm not sure what you need this for, but here is some silverware . She assured one member of our party that his sandwich would not have mayo and it came with mayo. Food: Bland, tasteless, no flavor, nothing special. I truly believe I have had a better burger at Carl 's Jr. Atmosphere: Bad music playing too loud. Other than that, the interior isn 't so bad.
