Thank you to Fatima and Sonia who made it extra special with their friendly warm welcome! Don’t let snobbish foreigners and their arrogant reviews put you off, it would be a shame to miss out on the exquisite pastries and the bread is excellent too (my favorite is the ficelle paillasse sourdough and the moisson multigrain loaves).
I've been buying bread and pastries here every day for the past two weeks. The variety and quality is excellent. However some of the staff are lovely while others seem to delight in making you feel stupid if your French isn't perfect or even if you don't have the right change. Go there but don't expect the red carpet treatment. And try the house cake it's unique and utterly delicious.
Lovely croissants and other breakfast goodies at this patisserie . The cakes look fantastic and you can sample them on site as they have a few tables outside. It is on the main road to Port Grimaud, just after Prairie de mer.
We really wanted to try the famous Tarte Tropezienne and this place had easy parking and was on our way, so it was a no brainer to stop here. So we got ourselves a slice of the Tarte Tropezienne which did live up to its hype, we also picked out a few fruit tarts, the strawberry one being my favourite. The price was probably a little dearer than other places but considering the quality it was definitely worth it.
The Bagette Tropozienne from this place is just the best bread you could wish for. The Tarte Tropezienne itself is a great cake too. Only downside is that the coffee is from an automatic machine rather than hand made.
