Cafe Grindelwald has the same view when your seating outdoors. The menu had limited choice, but what we ordered was a lovely veggie burger with a cranberry flavour. The waiter was friendly.
If you go to Grindelwald, you must stop and get a snack and a drink. We traveled by train from our hotel in Interlaken. The train dead ends in Grindelwald. This is a beautiful city and nice café.
After a fairly long day of sight seeing we decided a beer and pizza sounded great and this was just the right spot. the Service was great, the food was really good, the beer was cold and the scenery was spectacular.
By strolling along the street, I became attentive to the queerish suite: triangular coffee table, odd looking chairs; then I realized, it's a coffee-shop in a sports shop (grindelwald sports).Inside there's a little bar, and a couple of differently designed zones. I was pleased by the designed furniture and atmosphere. The cafe is open to the staff, customers of the sports shop, as well as to the public. The assortment is quite small: coffee, tea, drinks and some cakes.I was attended by the sports goods salesgirl, who was likeable and giving me the WLAN keyword.I could perfectly chill out an work on the Internet. But don't expect culinary delights, first of all, it's a shop for sports gear.
