The Grill - Groom

Everything on the menu is great! Karen and her crew are always friendly and offer great service! Favourites are the seafood sampler, the Watteburger and the breakfast Burritos with hot sauce. Good food, a good atmosphere and a clean place to take a break from driving is hard to find between cities. Thank you for opening your doors! Chris

The barbecue is a cool little family restaurant on the historic Route 66. We enjoyed the chicken-fried steak, chicken-fried chicken, fried catfish and the Naughty Burrito. All were good. For an extra laugh, look at the playful Skunk. He visited the day we ate here. Good times.

A small restaurant in a small town, but the device is incomparable and the food was fantastic. I'll recommend it to everyone.

Excellent customer service and great food! Three of us arrived late in Clarendon on a Saturday night on a motorcycle trip. One in our group told the other two about this place and it is a high recommendation on Urban Spoon. I found the phone number and called shortly before 8:00. The owner answered the call and I asked when they closed. She said 8:00. I said we were in Clarendon (43 km away) and would miss her this trip. She told me she had only one group on foot and that she would have prepared our order at 8:30 if I could tell her what we wanted. Three of the best chicken fried steak dinners were served hot and fresh within 10 minutes of our arrival! It encouraged us to return to Clarendon church for breakfast on Sunday morning (54 miles round trip). It's worth it! Thanks to everything in the grill. The Grill Gets Our Vote Too!. The food is good and reasonable in price. The country-fried steak, biscuits, and white cream gravy are great. We were just passing through, but were made to feel welcome, and well-fed.
