However, it is expensive compared to other Indian restaurants 50 60Y for a main, without rice or naan. Although, as it is in Wuyangcun, it is likely to be expected. Also they have about a dozen vegetarian main, 9 or 10 vegan, that is no more than your typical Indian place. They have recently changed their name to Little Papa, but some characters still say Little India. Updated from previous review on 2018 03 12
Little Papa (the restaurant has changed its name a while ago) is hands down our favorite address when we are looking for Indian food. Their Baingan Bharta (Mashed Aubergine) and Aloo Palak (Spinch and Potato) are explosions of taste. We recommend combining them with fluffy jasmine rice and crispy, chewing naan bread, which is always fresh from the oven. The service is courteous, speaks good English and can explain which dishes are vegan.
The food at this restaurant is delicious. The chana masala and dals are particularly good, and the naan is freshly made. However, it is more expensive compared to other Indian restaurants, with mains costing around 50-60Y without rice or naan. This higher price point may be expected due to its location in Wuyangcun. The restaurant offers about a dozen vegetarian mains and 9 or 10 vegan options, which is similar to other Indian restaurants. The restaurant recently changed its name to Little Papa, although some signage still refers to it as Little India.
Little Papa, formerly known by a different name, is without a doubt our go-to spot for satisfying our Indian food cravings. The Baingan Bharta (mashed eggplant) and Aloo Palak (spinach and potato) are bursting with delicious flavor. We suggest enjoying them with fluffy Jasmine rice and freshly baked crispy, chewy naan bread. The staff is friendly, fluent in English, and able to guide you on which dishes are vegan-friendly.
The food at this restaurant is excellent. I celebrated my birthday here and there are many options for both vegetarians and vegans. The restaurant has recently changed its name to Little Papa's.
