The girl who took my order was very presumptuous about where I was from and stated we aren’t like New Haven or other city areas. No options available, and rude lousy personnel.
I ordered a medium pizza online for delivery. I received a small instead. Not a big deal, but when I called to ask for the difference to be credited, they wouldn’t even refund the full price difference. So I essentially overpaid for a pizza I didn’t even order.
One pizza was served to us with two slices crumpled upon themselves (no, it was not a product of the drive home). Ordered a gluten free old world; a small w pepperoni, mushroom, onion, no grated at the end; and a salad w creamy Italian dressing. Old world came as you can see in the picture. And, no, it is not bc it’s gluten free. I have had gluten free crusts “old world style” (with pecorino romano instead of mozz) that did NOT come out like this and that were edible (this is not). Salad came with no dressing. And small w no grated at the end came w grated and NO PEPPERONI (that I paid for). I ordered on Slice App at 4:53pm, was told it would be done by 5:38 at the latest. Then got an updated text saying they were a little backed up and that it would be ready b/w 5:48-6:03pm. My husband waited in the store for 25 mins and left with our mess of a dinner at 6:14pm. If you can’t make the pizza—tell me and give me a refund…Instead of rendering me with inedible mush and a salad with no dressing. If I had been warned I could have made other arrangements. I get that Friday night is busy, but this is not a large or a complicated order AND it was placed BEFORE 5pm. My husband hates the flavor of the grated cheese (hence we we ask for NO GRATED AT THE END) and will now not eat this pizza. Edit to add: as he waited he was graced by the presence of three apathetic high schoolers, one of whom was laying her head on the counter as if she was bored. Rocco’s, what are you going to do to remedy this?
It was surprisingly great. The pizza was as good as the the pizza I grew up with from Wooster St. in New Haven. ?
Pizza was good. Fried calamari was hardly fried. We had 3 orders and couldn't eat it. Very doughy and
