ALISHA our waitress was great...Red fish and rice wings on the red velvet cheesecake was fantastic...we definitely recommended...
Great place. Food's very good, laid back vibe, water views and outside seating. Decent prices, portion sizes and strong, tasty drinks as well. Our server was Lisa and she is fantastic. Very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about everything on the menu. We stayed for a few hours while waiting for our condo check-in. She made sure we had everything we needed and didn't mind us staying long and taking up a table. Just fyi, they serve breakfast till 12 and only do lunch after that.
Hesitant to try The Sandbar due to previous breakfast reviews. Gave it a shot and couldn’t have been more pleased. Great service on a dreary Saturday morning with my family. Restaurant was toddler friendly, great value, solid mimosas, and if you judge a breakfast chef by his Benedict the crab cake benny was spot on with a firm white and runny yolk. I’ve had too many disappointing breakfasts in Pensacola, I’m glad this wasn’t one of them. Their menu is a very traditional and simple breakfast menu featuring several Benedict’s, home style eggs, potatoes, tater tots, omelets, shrimp and grits, French toast and pancakes.
Drinks only, I was there for the Songwriter Festival. Service was good considering the crowd. I sat at the bar by what I call the nurses station where walk-ups get drinks and service was quick for them as well.
