At first, the atmosphere did not have the same feeling as most Hooters, probably due to the black frame window and layout of the converted IHOP. I love the typical bright, knotty pine decor with all the fun signs and pictures, and gurnee could use a little more of it. While Gurnee has less character than other Hooter, it comes with and grows on me. It is a great location for me, and it has many parking spaces. Especially the wings are still excellent. Buffalo shrimp is also great. The crab legs are good. You've been busy with the pandemic and can be expected. The beer selection is not great, and you can easily fall well over $50 on wings, a common appetizer and a few big beers.
They canceled our reservation 2 hours before arrival. No other restaurants were closed and all the others had their own food.
Issie provided great service and was very attentive to us.
Enjoy dinner. COVID-19 security rules are available. Great food!
Drove an hour to celebrate two birthdays, 3rd consectutive birthday here for my son. Waitress (Makayla? was excellent and we've never had a bad one here. Food was excellent, happy that they still had the Daytona style wings and Daytona sauce even though it wasnt on menu. If I had to complain about anything directly related to the store, it would be that the music was excessively loud for the area we were in. One other issue, we HAD to make a reservation online, party of 6, 2pm, 10-18-2020. When we got there, they stated they couldnt accomidate my party w/o splitting my group. After some complaining and explaining our situation, and waiting 20 min, they found a table to seat all of us.
