Mike's Tavern - Hagerstown

The burgers are excellent. However, the fries have been unavailable for quite some time.

Always a fantastic atmosphere, attentive service, delicious food, and great drinks!

Unfortunately, my experience at Mike's Tavern was far from pleasant. Mary Lou, the bartender, stands out as the most negative and rude staff member I've ever encountered. Her lack of professionalism and respect, especially towards male customers who are simply trying to enjoy their time, is astounding. We've reached a point where we plan our visits to Mike's around whether she'll be working or not. Her attitude creates a terribly negative atmosphere, prompting many patrons to leave sooner than they'd like. Today, she tossed the tablet at me to settle my bill and dismissively remarked, "I have no time for math," before walking away. As a customer service-oriented establishment that claims to support veterans, I would expect much better behavior from the staff. This experience was truly disappointing.

Paige was great. Welcoming atmosphere, good jukebox music and the food was absolutely fantastic. If you want a chill place with a clean bathroom, clean kitchen and well maintained bar and outside area to eat with friends or family this is it!

Love this hole in the wall. Looks can be deceiving especially for the area it is in, but it's a great place for bar food and a cold beer.
