Pizza Delight - Halifax

I ordered a pizza for delivery and provided my address. Instead of informing me upfront about the $15 delivery fee for crossing the bridge, the restaurant decided to call me after I placed my order.

We have visited this restaurant multiple times in hopes of giving them opportunities to improve.

My fiancé and I tried the lunch buffet today, priced at $11.99 per person. The service was good, the venue was pleasant and clean. However, if you are going to offer a buffet, you should make sure to provide a wider variety of options.

Everything is great here, from the meals, services, delivery. I have tried them all but noticed they are closed now and miss them deeply. Though once my order went through online before they realized that they were out of the donair sizes I needed. However, they call to inform me about this and their available sizes. People make mistakes but they were quick in fixing it.

Pizza Delight is pretty standard pizza, nothing special. The menu offers what you would expect in a franchised pizza restaurant - some standard offerings with the option of build it yourself. There is also a "bread grill" - basically a hot grill on which you can toast a slice of bread and then add some spread (garlic, etc). to it. No big deal, but fun if you like to watch bread toast on an open grill. The restaurant is clean and the washrooms are well looked after. The service is polite and efficient. The restaurant is at the top of a long set of stairs and on the way down one of the steps is not of a standard size so watch you don't trip. Good pizza, good value, reasonable price.
