El Tejas - Haltom City

Very delicious. I was looking for a good Mexican food. Texas never disappointed. I ordered the chicken and steak with rice and a flour tortilla. Nice size. Will be back in the area. Waitresses were nice too. Good job!

I'm looking for good TexMex and was finally in the El Tejas area to try. I've snatched. The chicken was very tender and had a wonderful taste. They don't shy on the cheese either. Only complaint is at the time when I get it halfway through the nachos she began to get soggy. So had to fight with them. Their homemade tortillas were fantastic love wow light they were. Service was great. Drink never made it halfway. Next time to think that I will give some Fajitas an attempt.

Eating was great, glad that we decided to stop - will definitely return. I'd consider the more authentic Mexican food than Tex-Mex. We had a friendly waitress who did good work to look at our table, although they were pretty busy on Sunday. Be warned that portions are very large, next time we share a dish and not order an appetizer!

Seen a lot of reviews for bad service but our experience was overwhelmingly good. The waitress was nice and attentive. Food and drinks were well flavored. I would recommend the pozole. We came in as a party of four with no wait and there was a decent amount of people already seated. Would recommend and will be going back again.

While I absolutely LOVE their food, they get our to-go orders wrong 75% of the time. Their staff is always very nice. We have had outstanding service inside. I no longer place orders over the phone... only inside and then wait on it. Never takes too long.
