The steak and ale pie was the best I've had in a long time, accompanied by fresh vegetables and delicious chips. Despite wanting a light dessert, I couldn't resist ordering the trifle, which turned out to be a generous portion and incredibly tasty. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was that of a traditional, cozy pub. Thank you for a great meal, I hope to return soon!
We visited on Sunday food was gorgeous all fresh veg, loads of hand carved meat lots of very tasty gravy and lovely stuffing. The lemon cheese cake was amazing would throughly reccomend
I visited this pub for the first time today and had a fantastic experience. The food was delicious, with our group enjoying gammon and steak and ale pie. The starters and desserts were also delicious, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was lovely and overall, it was a real gem. I would highly recommend this place.
First time here for many years. Friendly welcome, lasagne was excellent , as was the chicken pie. This is real pub food , but no frozen vegetables all proper cooked food. The chips need a special review of their own, I have rarely tasted such good chips . Will be returning soon . I highly recommend
We have been to this lovely village inn on a number of occasions and it has always been consistently excellent, be it the food or the friendly and welcoming staff. Their delicious Sunday Lunches are very good. Our latest visit was for an evening meal and we had mixed grills that were beautifully cooked and well presented. The steaks were done perfectly. Fabulous chips too. Highly recommended and this is our one to go back to dining venue. Please note the mixed grills for two people are not on the printed menu, you have to pre order and they do a traditional and a pork mixed grill.
