Noah’s Tavern was among these and decided to give it a try. I wouldn’t say it’s the best Greek food I ever had, but it was very good and a nice change of cuisine. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the late July evening. The waitress was very accommodating. We ordered the seafood plate for two (see photos). Very delicious, and well seasoned with a hint of spiciness. Just the right amount for two. This will definitely be on my return list to try some of the other dishes on the menu!
We loved Noahs taverna's tomato soup. It had fresh mint and yoghurt that suited the soup very well. We also had Noah's platter which had nice greek tapas. The waiter was friendly and we liked the atmosphere of the restaurant. Definitely recommend and would go back.
After walking all day I was feeling pretty tired and jaded. The square close to our hotel is full of restaurants of all cuisines. We did a lap and decided on Greek but when I opened the menu I was worried as a lot of the dishes were from pork rather than lamb but then the lovely waiter arrived with the most delicious home made bread and dip plus two glasses of oozo on the house and it was all uphill from there. My Gyros with chips and salad although made from pork tasted authentic and better than any I have eaten in Australia or Greece! My husband enjoyed his calimari but agreed mine dish was the nights winner.
We stayed locally and happened across this place amongst other a few other restaurants. Very reasonably priced, nothing fancy, but excellent dips and dolmades (especially the smokey flavored eggplant dip), and a very good mixed seafood dish. Freshly home-baked bread a bonus too. Really enjoyed our dinner.
The food was not very tasty and,in particular,it didn't taste any Greek.not even the rezna had a good quality.the atmosphere was kind of squallid looking like a restaurant for turists somewhere in a Mediterranean country.the price wasn't even that cheap and what follows is that I would never recommend it.at least the it is a very central restaurant and the position is good for visiting the city.
