The 211 bus stops just outside the restaurant which you can catch from Hammersmith tube station so location wise it's good. It's BYOB (we thought there would be a corkage charge but there wasn't) and the menu was plentiful. I went for the halloumi and chicken burger with chips with a side of humous. The halloumi was the best I have ever tasted and the chicken was so flavoursome! Per couple we paid £24 each! Lovely atmosphere and the waitress was lovely. Total bargain and I would definitely return.
A BYO restaurant which makes it great value for money.Went Sat night 8.30 and there were a few there already A good welcome and the wine was opened immediately. The veg mezzo was good and enjoyable. My Chicken was succulant , tasty and just what I wanted hmm nice.So will go back and is a great VFM local
Food is great however we always have huge problems ordering over the phone. I would advise the restaurant to use a component phone operator to take orders.
We have been here as a family twice and we will definitely go again. The restaurant is warm and cosy and offers excellent value for money. We have ordered the set meals and not been disappointed. The portions are generous and absolutely delicious. The starter is a mix of tasty salad, falafel, hummus and dips. The starter is nearly a meal in itself! Next is the main course: we tried the mixed grill and lamb tagine. The lamb came to the table sizzling hot and was lovely and soft. The mixed grill was a variety of skewer grilled meat which comes with a variety of dips and a choice of rice or chips. Our daughter ordered a halloumi and chicken breast burger which she was very happy with and this was more than plenty for her. We didn't have dessert but we have previously tried the tradional pastries. These are made of flaky pastry and must be experienced: they are a lovely way to end a very filling and delicious meal. We love the food here. We love the ambiance and the traditional music. We come as a family but the restaurant is perfect for couples. It is very romantic. The waitress is the best. She always makes sure you have everything you need without being imposing. During peak times the restaurant also caters for deliveries so you might see the odd delivery driver popping in. The restaurant allows patrons to bring their own wine or beer with no extra charge for corkage. What a bonus! This unique little restaurant in the heart of Fulham is highly recommended if you want a delicious meal and a lovely evening.
I had lunch at Comptoir Mezze last week and I can honestly say that it wasn't all tasty. Bear in mind it was lunch time and there wasn't another soul inside, the decor was lovely and authentic. I ordered a wrap chips, it was tasteless with just lettuce and lamb inside the wrap.
