Tropical Taco - HANALEI

I saw a few reviews with lower reviews and I can't imagine they came to the same restaurant. this place was wonderful during our stay here on the north coast of kauai. eating is very fresh and tasty and the service is exceptional. it is a family-run place where they put their hearts in the food and I will tell them that we really enjoyed the hospitality and quality. definitely worth a visit while they are on the north shore.

One star for the nice girl at the counter and one star for the 9$ taco with the store bought uncooked corn tortilla with the stick of unseasoned firm fish (not fresh) and a LOT of green filler. Salsa on top was pretty but tasteless. I never salt my food but even after I did this time I didn’t finish. Small almost tasteless taco …skip this place. FYI….I should have left when I saw many not finishing their food. My companion had the two taco plate for $19 and he felt the same. It came with 3 chips and a tiny amount of refries and tasteless rice. The best thing was the refries and the 3 chips.

M Pace your mouth must be rotten beacuse they are the most consistent busiest restaurant in Hanalei. Dont ever come back all your doing is taking up a local person spot in line who actual loves enjoys there food. SO OVER all these ungrateful tourist!HAD THE MOST AMAZING FOOD TODAY, THEY HAVE THlE MOST FRIENDLY EMPLOYEES ?

Holy taco, Batman. Huge Ahi taco loaded with fish, cheese, beans and all the other good stuff. This was a two-handed and came with a diaper (for the taco, it me). Absolutely delicious. Would 100% eat here again.

Went to tropical taco on a recommendation. It was busy, usually a good sign and everyone in line said it was good.We got a variety of their signature and regular tacos as there were 6 of us.The food was made with sub-par ingredients, not fresh or quality, or even tasty. There were several very upset stomachs that day.
