It took 20 mins for someone to come with the menus. It took another 20 mins for someone to come take our drink order. Our waitress, Inka, was absolutely fantastic! We also said we are ready to order. 45 mins passed and I went to find an employee to ask about our food, I was not mad, but we had not expected to be that long. You could tell these ladies were crazy busy, the bar tenders were now helping with orders as well. My husband had to leave as he had to get to work. They brought his food out 15 mins later. The rest of our dinners came out 15 mins after that. The dinners were cold, the fish was cold and soggy, there was no dressing on the coleslaw it was just cabbage pulled from a bag) the upgraded fries were cold , not great and i would not order again. Our waitress was embarrassed and so apologetic- I felt so bad for her and all the front staff. At the end of the day for 6 of us our bill was over $120 Our whole dining experience that night was over 2 3/4 hrs long. Again I felt so bad for the staff as they were fantastic!
Made reservations for 6:30? for just 5 people on Thursday wing night special. I finally flagged down the waitress at 7:00 to come take our order. the last of our party sat down at 6:40). I should have known from there it was going to be a long night. Ordered 5 orders of wings, and 1 appetizer. For such a small order, especially on wing night you would expect food in a timely matter. Appetizer arrived at 7:25. I ordered another beer, that took 15 minutes to arrive. By 7:40 I noticed a table beside us of 6 seniors who ordered hamburgers had their food. They arrived long after we did.so I started to question the waitress where our food was and I pointed out the table beside us. She said 5 more minutes. 7:50 our wings arrived cold and undercooked. Huge disappointment as I have eaten here before and enjoyed it, so I bragged to our guests how good it was.,,,,Update, I have reached out to the manager over a week ago as requested,,,and still no response. Not only poor service and food but the management skills need training as well. Definitely won?t be back, it?s obvious match is truly not interested in hearing from their customers about their experiences.
I came to the Match for the first time for a little celebration with my daughter. We ordered the kids chicken quesadilla for her and the lettuce wraps and wontons for myself. What she actually got when we did recieve our food was two tiny chicken tacos. What I got was a head of iceberg lettuce cut in half on my plate. Not what I was picturing when I ordered lettuce wraps. The wontons were discusting, I couldn't even eat them. Also I got the smallest 9$ Caesar I have ever seen. The server took forever to bring us the bill after we had finished eating. Would not recommend and would not return.
We had a great meal here. We would definitely go back next time we're in town. The Caesar salad is one of the best around, and their french onion soup is pretty awesome as well. You just got to watch out because it's attached to the casino and it's easy to get off track, wander in and spend all your money.
We had my girlfriends birthday at Match in Hanover last night. Our waitress Shelly was so outgoing and professional which made our night a complete success. I have to speak for all of us...our dinner was plated nicely, cooked to perfection and delicious. This was our first experience at Match and I can say honestly we will be back. Thank you for a great dining experience ????????????
