Williams Inn - Harbor Beach

We drove half an hour to enjoy breakfast here, and the buffet was advertised as fresh with items being replenished after we placed our orders. However, we ended up waiting for nearly an hour for refills that never came. There was no speck on the buffet, and the ham was never replenished during our visit. The potato dish remained empty the entire time, along with several other items. The hash browns had been left out for so long that they were dried out and felt like they had just come out of the refrigerator—they were ice cold. The fresh fruit appeared to be from a can, aside from a few cut bananas that were only brought out five minutes before we left. To make matters worse, a woman nearby coughed over the food, and I’ll spare you the details of what happened afterward. I tried to bring this up to our waitress, Jenny, but she brushed it off, saying she often hears complaints about issues like this.

The owners and cooks are wonderful people. The food is delicious and served in generous portions. Everything is made fresh, so there's a slightly longer wait time, but it's worth it. The waitstaff is very friendly.
