The fig/prosciutto pie was dry and tough. It appeared that the fig spread melted, then hardened. It was a total disappointment, as this was the pie we looked most forward to. We also ordered the margarita pie. This too was a disappointment, as the sauce was odd, for lack of a better adjective. There are some really tasty margarita pies out there. This was not one of them. The highlights of the meal were the free, crusty bread, served with butter in a puddle of olive oil, and the beet salad. Not a place I will be visiting for pizza any longer
I find home cooking to be an unhelpful cliche when talking about a restaurant, but it 's the best term that comes to my mind to describe Cork Crust 's food. It 's different from most Italian places, but not in a particularly fancy or edgy way it 's just high quality, hearty food that doesn 't taste like a generic Italian place. Last night, we had the Stuffed Mushrooms, Calamari Rosario, Amalfi Chicken and Capellini Tre Feste. All was delicious, particularly the Amalfi Chicken, which was spicy and tangy the best combination. Be sure to ask for the bread (which they don 't always bring for some reason) the spicy bruschetta is awesome. Also, it 's BYOB.

The ambiance is classy, elegant, but yet still comfortable and welcoming. The service is great. Food came out quick, and was delicious. Definitely try the chicken amalfi!!
