Cornerstone - Hartford

I love this place!!! I use to work in downtown Hartford about 11 yrs ago. My favorite is the chicken cutlet anyway. I went back today after 11 years and got my chicken cutlet grinder.it tasted exactly the same way I remembered. This is definitely a gem in downtown Hartford.

Holy Cow! What a great Diamond in the rough! This little gem aims to please! I am a UConn student and they gave me a free lunch! Boy am I grateful! I chose the chicken cutlet American style, chips and a drink! It would have costed $8.50 but today was my lucky day! Woot woot! This deli is super clean and it smells great inside from the freshly cooked items! This is a must visit!

This restaurant is a fantastic spot for top-notch eggs, sandwiches, soups, and salads. The staff is welcoming and attentive, and the portions are incredibly generous with top-quality ingredients. Despite its small size, the restaurant is spotless and can comfortably seat around 25 people. Don't be fooled by its humble exterior - the fresh, high-quality food and excellent customer service make dining here a truly worthwhile experience.

I have been coming to this restaurant for 30 years and have always enjoyed the great food and friendly staff. The trip to Hartford for lunch is always worth it. They have the best chicken parmigiana in Connecticut and their soups are also excellent. I highly recommend trying the pasta fagioli. Sarah, Rose, and Lou provide the best service.
