My daughter and I ordered both chicken salad on toast, fried green tomatoes and fried okra. My husband ordered the Boom-Scharmp-Tacos with Fritten. My son got Hamburg steak with potatoes and green beans. It was all delicious. The service was great, efficient and friendly. Kept our cups refilled and checked for us a few times to make sure nothing was needed. The only thing missing was the daily special. They were out. We would definitely return. Bill was about $50 minus luck for the family of 4. Decor is a “Pickers” dream.
This place is the complete package! Fabulous food (boom boom shrimp tacos are THE BEST, the waiters are all so sweet (I think Areanna was her name? And last but not least SUCH a cool atmosphere! Basically it is like an antique business meets restaurant, I think is the best way to describe it. So unique! This is a must to see if you are ever in the area, or even if you are not worth the ride!!! Enjoy!
We always had a great time here. The food is definitely cooked at home and it tastes better than anything you can get from any fast food or chain restaurant. The service is somewhat slower, but we come here to hang up specifically and look at all the amazing artefacts and memories they have so, we don't wait for our food because there is always something that triggers a conversation. Your reubens are here! I'm the stranger in my family, and I could eat corn and cabbage every day. It is hot, crispy butter bread, the right amount of herb and a thousand island. It's just delicious!!! Your strawberry bezel salad is also amazing! The owners are also super sweet. They moved from Chicago to take over the restaurant. We love this place! Also the fried pickles are the best appetizer choice ever... they are more like pickleries and they come with a spicy ranch.
The food was delicious and our waitress was very sweet and friendly. Many things to see and it is very clean in it. Definitely a cool little place. Everything is also a good price. We thought here was a late dinner while driving through the city and we were pleasantly surprised
We will definitely be back. The food delicious and cooked just perfectly and the service was top notch. As soon as you walk in the door there is decor everywhere and positioned just right. You can tell it took years to collect, but worth every bit of it. This is a must see!!!
