Papa Murphy's Pizza - Hattiesburg

This spot is pick up only We decided to try this spot as a friend of ours recommend it, the unique aspect of this joint is they make your pizza to bake in your own oven. We used their friendly online menu/ordering tool. My wow factors here are the GLUTEN FREE crust option. Not only is it gf but this crust taste so good and is edible doesn't taste like cardboard and their is a light sweet taste to the crust. I ordered the Thai chicken pizza on the gluten free crust- delicious! Another highlight is that you can opt for light sauce!! And they really do apply light sauce. Finally a place that adapts to your special request and follows through! The only thing is, if your hungry you might get annoyed that your going to have to wait until you get home to turn your oven on and bake away. The good news is after you bake, there is a FRESH pizza to devour.

This 5 star review is for service. I 'm not from the area and didn 't realize this place sells uncooked pizza. When finding that out at pick-up, the employees were completely gracious. After explaining that I was staying in a hotel with no way to cook it, they were very easygoing about keeping the pizza. They even offered recommendations for a couple places that sell cooked pizzas. Thanks for being so understanding, guys! (If you wanna laugh... the above happened after having just returned a frozen pizza to the grocery store because the hotel room kitchen 's oven turned out to be a dishwasher. Idiocy meets irony.

Hands down the best pizza in town. Everything made fresh and to order; nothing frozen. They make the dough, they chop the veggies. Staff is super friendly and helpful. It can get busy and hectic on peak days and hours, so you might want to call in and tell them when you plan to pick up. I like to watch them make it. I'm working my way thru the menu but you can create your own. Toppings are generous piled high. You take it home and cook it; perfect hot pizza in about 15 minutes cooked on the tray they made it on no mess. Leftovers reheat well, and chances are you will have leftovers. This is a LOT of pizza for the money. Love it!!!!
