Red Shed 77 - Havelock

This restaurant serves the best fish and chips in all of New Zealand! They also offer fantastic green shell mussels. The fish and mussels were incredibly fresh and delicious.

We had a great lunch at this restaurant. The portion sizes were generous, the ingredients were fresh, and the prices were reasonable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a stop on your next trip through Havelock.

Highly recommend!! Best mussels I’ve ever had in New Zealand. (Chilli and Tomato) Fried chicken meal was very delicious as well.

My recent dining experience at Red Shed 77 was outstanding. The battered mussels and salad were fresh and delicious, served with a generous slice of lemon and a flavorful salad. The chef was attentive to my allergies and the service was excellent. I would definitely return without hesitation.
