Jamies Diner - Havering

Come here quite often for the BEST egg and chips and crusty bread. I love this cafe. Very convenient for a break and a bite to eat or a cup of tea while doing the shopping

Table wasn't clean.milky coffee.slow service. Girl chatting too much. Paninis took 10mina to make.salad 1 tiny garnished. Went 2pay and she wass still yakking. Unfriendly and if we wasn't there. Never again

Lady taking the order seemed more interested in her phone than the customers. Waited too long during my lunch break for a sandwich! When it finally came there was a small hair in the side salad which totally put me off and then my friend found a longer hair on her plate. We left the sandwiches and walked out. Will not return. Hygiene standards definitely not up to standard…

Called in today for lunch. Great food served piping hot and amazing value for money. Lovely friendly and helpful staff. We are in Romford visiting family and we will be back.

The Diner is located in Romford shopping Hall. Adequate seating with tables available for 8, 6 and 4 people. Dishes range from Roast, Soups from £2.95, Breakfasts (you build your own or choose from an option of 6) and Jacket Potatoes starting from £3.50 etc. Food drinks are ordered and paid for at the Counter. The Cafe was fairly busy and the staff were friendly. I had roast potatoes, egg, beans and plum tomatoes. I wasn’t happy with how the food was presented and had to drain liquid of the plate first. I didn’t like the potatoes as I felt they didn’t taste fresh. Overall I will visit again and try another dish.
