Colores Artisan Ice Cream - Healdsburg

After dinner on Friday, three of us wanted ice cream for dessert. My friend Tom suggested we should go to Colores. “Where is that? Is it a new place? I thought I knew all the ice places in Healdsburg. Tom said it was only open for a few months. “You have more flavors than you have ever seen.” So we tried. Spectacular! Tom was right. So many interesting and new flavors of ice and popsicles! It was a good thing that we were offered little taste. Tom tried Blackberry cheesecake ice cream and corn ice cream. He settled on a coffee cone, his regular choice. I couldn't decide, so I had a cup of half Aroz con leche rice pudding and half Pina Colada pineapple coconut. Our other friend had a Snicker ice cone. Yup, that's right; a Snicker's candy bar flavored ice cream. We asked where the ice was made. “Right here on the grounds.”, our server told us. I urinate this to be the best ice cream in Healdsburg, if not all northern Sonoma County and I consider myself an excellent judge of the ice. It will give me many, many visits to enjoy all the flavors of this excellent ice cream.
