I had lamb with maic and fresh veg, my man had chicken amd haggis, both so delicious. the greeting was as hearty as eating. they do everything that this is doing or take them away. we sat down and couldn't ask for more. highly recommended if they are in the opposite, booking is recommended.
Just popped in for a coffee, and really enjoyed the chat, and a few stories with the owner. Would love to experience a meal here, (and the sweet treats looked enticing) but we'd not too long eaten, so it'll have to be another time.
Good small restaurant, service is excellent, and the food is pretty good too. Menu is written on the boards in the shop so look around but to ask for specials as the lamb shoulder wasn’t on the menu.
We got some coffee and a Victoria sponge cake to take away as we didn’t have much time. The coffee selection is great, one of the best we have had in the Highlands, and they offer non-dairy milk (soya), which is really a plus for me! The cake was also delicious, super friendly staff. Definitely recommend this place!
We stumbled across this place while on the NC500. We felt so welcomed. Food was great best fish and chips ever! Would highly recommend!
