The dilly bars are the best but the parking lot needs to be fixed and the building on the outside needs a coat of paint.
I ordered the regular patty melt combo with a sweet tea at this restaurant. I waited for ten minutes at the second window, allowing the person behind me to receive their Blizzard first. When I asked why it took so long, I was told that it was because they use fresh patties and don't keep them late. Despite this, I thought it was a good deal and drove off. The fries were delicious as I ate them on the way home. However, when I got home, I found that the fresh patty was overcooked, there were only a few onion strings, and there was an excessive amount of mayo that I had to scrape off. The white bread was untoasted, soggy, and too thick. This visit occurred on Wednesday, the 9th of February, 2022. This restaurant is the oldest Dairy Queen in Texas, but they need to improve their food quality.
I tried the Cheesy Steak Fingers but was disappointed to find that there was no cheese in them. After taking one bite, all I could taste was the breaded fried steak fat. Unfortunately, it was the worst meal I have tried at this restaurant and I will not be ordering it again.
I dined at this restaurant and was greeted by the wonderful and hospitable staff. The service was quick, and the dining area and restrooms were spotless. I will definitely be returning here in the future.
