Surly Goat - HEPBURN SPRINGS

Wonderful experience ! Delicious food , perfect amount, every dish a taste sensation ! The staff were very welcoming and attentive ! Over all a great evening ! Thank you !

My wife had been here during a girls weekend away and I went to Surly Goat with her and our 10 year old for lunch. They provided a child's meal for him and we had the set menu (no option and happy with that). The food was amazing and the staff who were great including the chef who did a wander around are all obviously very invested in the restaurant. We all came away more than satisfied after having a wonderful dining experience.

I have to agree with most of the reviews here. Unassuming on the outside, but outstanding food. Friendly staff. The set menu is varied and all very tasty and balanced flavors. Highly recommended.

It's small on the outside, more on the inside. Friendly, professional staff. Excellent coffee. The breakfast was just the thing. The deviled eggs and ham to was just right. A really good bun. Layered flavours. House pickles on the side. The other dishes were imaginative and looked yum. Recommended.

We wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversary in style and having tried nearly everywhere in town (were both chefs) thought we'd give Surly Goat a go. This place delivered and more, impeccable service, great atmosphere and food well executed with style and technique. Well worth a visit and well worth the one hat received in the Age Good Food Guide, beats most restaurants in town hands down!.
