The Jolly Sailor - Heybridge

Wow! That meal was absolutely fantastic. The restaurant is stunning and the service was excellent. I want to thank everyone on the staff for providing such a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended!

This was my first visit to the restaurant. My friend and I took my children on a boat trip last Friday during the halftime after Heybridge. We were able to secure a table and were impressed by the friendly and helpful service. The food was amazing and I don't usually give high ratings unless it's perfect. There was no long waiting times and the food was served nice and warm. The children's dishes were more than enough and my sandwich was filled generously. My friend loved their leber and speck dish as well. The portions were huge, especially the chips. My son and I shared the scampi and sandwiches, and we were so full that we didn't have room for dessert. However, my friend had the crumble and I tried the cherry cake (which I highly recommend, but beware it's not for the faint-hearted). The children enjoyed their egg dish as well. Overall, the food was absolutely delicious and I will definitely return.

I had a wonderful experience at this charming waterfront pub. The food was delicious and they had a great variety of beers to choose from. The highlight for me was the dessert. The staff were exceptional, going above and beyond by recommending scenic spots for me to photograph. I will definitely be coming back soon.

I absolutely loved this place. The food and service were outstanding. It's also a great spot to just sit back and relax. I will definitely be returning.
