High Wycombe Tavern

The high-wycombe-tavern was many years ago when it was enjoyable and the staff was friendly, but I went to the high-wycombe-tavern last night with some friends and the staff are so unfriendly and rude and the employees themselves. are not properly treated as I have experienced. I'm not back. I hope this thema is treated! a terrible barservice from the personal.

We went to lunch and paid 38.50 for a Scotch filling after our opinion that is an expensive tavern steak. that we do not return this price.

We live in Waikiki and travelled for a birthday dinner The tavern is in a local shopping centre We had a table booked and were shown the table The staff were friendly and helpful My wife and I shared oysters kilpatrick, garlic prawns and fish...and chips I liked everything apart from the garlic prawns which were just ok Everyone at the table enjoyed what they are A nice tavern and worth the drive

Food was very nice Service was very average. Some Entrees ordered and not served. Mains ordered. Some not served But apparently the waitress was new, so forgiveness is provided

Went in tonight after seeing Steak night special on their website went there from a google search). We couldn 't see any signage about it so asked the waitress who said she was fairly certain it wasn 't on. She called over the Duty Manger who went...to great lengths to tell us not only had they not had specials since Covid hit but they couldn 't even buy the steak for that much. Even after showing her the live link from Google she refused to do anything to honour the rate and even randomly I thought unless the Chef has more power than a manager) saying the Chef said no to honouring the price. I took screen shots but by the time we got home the page she claimed didn 't exist had been removed. We originally had a table at the Belmont Tavern $17 steak night and a kids playground) but cancelled because we thought the HW had finally returned to having specials. In fact the only 'specials ' they had on offer started at $29.50 and their prices are much higher than previous visits. We walked out as not willing to pay that much for any of their food after being treated so poorly!. Such a shame they are willing to lose customers over something such as this!
