This restaurant is an amazing hidden gem in Detroit. My wife somehow heard about it and, as true Detroit fans, we had to find it. The journey from the city takes you through layers of what Detroit used to be and what it is trying to become again. We even took a detour down Woodward to see the beautiful neighborhoods. Once we found Dutch Girl, we were hooked. We had never seen a donut shop like it before. The cozy lobby was packed, and parking was a challenge. But the donuts were soft, delicious, and worth the trip. My wife and I only intended to have one, but as soon as we got back in the car, we had to go back for more. We chatted with some locals and had a great time. Dutch Girl is truly a hidden gem.
