Il Forno - Highland Park

I visited this restaurant for the first time last night, and it definitely won't be my last! The service was polite and friendly, and the restaurant was very clean. The pizza was excellent—just like the perfect thin-crust Chicago-style pizza I grew up enjoying in Rogers Park. It’s easily one of the best pizzas I've had in Lake County. I tried the sausage and pepperoni pizza, and the ingredients were high-quality and generously portioned. The crust was amazing, perfectly complemented by the sauce. Congratulations! You've made it onto my list of best places in Lake County!

I've been coming here for the past 3 or 4 years for a large pizza and soda for just $5.25, and I've never been disappointed. The staff is friendly, and the pizza is fantastic, which is why this place is a regular stop for me every week.
