Koji's Bento Korner - Hilo

Koji Bento Korner is one the best deals in Hilo! I love their daily combo specials, but the Loco Moco are a killer here! If you want the best chop steak in Hilo....order a plate or two, it wouldn't cost you more than $10.00 for two people to be very happy.

The only bad thing I have to say about Koji's is...

Not what it used to be. Really sad when Kojis daughter and son in law left. This was our favorite place to go and have been going for 15 years. The mac salad was the same but that was about it, the portions noticeably smaller, Teri beef plate was over cooked or old. We ordered Teri chicken plate, no onions. Got a ton of onions and 5 pieces of chicken and the paper the chicken is on. Bummer, hope the quality improves over time.

*Cash only* Small hole in the wall local take out restaurant located in downtown Hilo with awesome plate lunches. Go in, order what u want then wait outside until called when the order is ready. Had to visit first stop off the plane when in hilo. Had the kojis loco moco (teri burgers with fried egg and gravy, two portugese sausage and homemade kim chee) and did not disappoint. Will try their other daily menu items next visit everything looked winnahs

Koji's is great! I love getting the Spam and Eggs plate comes with a lot of rice! ....very reasonable and cheap price!
