Ocean Sushi - Hilo

Looked for this place after reading a review. Worth the little search. Very casual hole in the wall but also very busy. Very reasonably priced and fresh. No atmosphere but ono grinds. Lowered a star since California roll was made with imitation crab but had another roll very inventive with tuna and mac nuts...AWESOME and not found anywhere else. Enjoy.

Very good food and good service. We ate here for our anniversary. The best sushi I had. The next visit to Big Island will be back.

That was one of my favorite restaurants in Hilo. You have the best Californian role and I haven't found any better on the mainland or Japan yet.

Good Sushi and Nitriri, not Sashimi. Price for rolls decent. Nigiri prices good. Tempura plated overpriced.

The food is reasonable and tasty. Not too expensive for what you get. Waiting time was a little long. The staff was friendly and friendly.
