Contribuisci feedbackI had family visiting from out of town and booked this class (family brunch class). Overall I would say it was disappointing compared to other cooking classes I’ve done in the greater NYC area and it’s overpriced for the quality. I wouldn’t return or recommend to friends. That said, if you would like a safe environment for your children to practice cooking without having to clean up it can be a fun activity. If you do go I would recommend double checking ingredients for mold, and if you want the goods you put into the oven to be returned to you and not another group, you should pay extra attention.Pros: Chef Kaitlin did a good job of preparing everyone for what to expect in the class and doing safety training, basic techniques and explanations Many helpers around to answer questions and provide assistance Good menu and choice of recipes with varied types of cooking. Very fun to make cinnamon rolls, roll out pie crust, make latkes! Good capacity for the class (great layout to the space, appealing room)Cons: Lack of cleanliness. Aprons were unclean and had hair on them The cheese was moldy. This was less of an issue and I had more of an issue with how it was handled. Food safety is important. When we pointed out, the moldy cheese, we were initially told by one helper that it was okay to put in our quiche because it was “such a small amount.” Afterwards, the cheese was replaced but we unfortunately felt like we had irritated the staff for bringing it up and asking them to replace the ingredients. They wouldn’t make eye contact and didn’t bother addressing the issue directly professionally. We were disappointed that our crust was mislabeled and after baking and we received someone else’s (much less nice) crust. Part of the fun of the class is celebrating your hard work, and after paying $75 a person you would hope some understanding from the staff. Our food was underbaked and much of it inedible
It was a fun event until I was misgendered. A reminder to staff men with long hair exist. If you’re a man with long hair be prepared to be misgendered by staff all night. The food was absolutely delicious I would recommend to others. I’ll be back to try one of their classes.
I was apart of a team of individuals that rented this commercial kitchen for a production shoot for a high level client (one of the major sneaker companies in existence). Various people looked at the listing on Peerspace and approved of this kitchen based on its images. Upon arrival it was realized that they had multiple kitchens with no specifications as to which one would be given. Allen was pretentious on the phone and not accommodating at all. He did offer a refund…but as productions have heavy expense implications this was not an option. The camera was very easy to remove. Held by 2 screws but this wasn’t an option for the owner. And I can respect that as this is his kitchen. But what I can’t respect was his next threatening course of action. As the phone call got heated Allen decided that raised voices equaled him threatening to “call the cops to have you forcibly removed”. Calling the cops on customers who paid and were requesting a solution as there was no specificity in his booking options. People that threaten to call the cops on non-threatening individuals (Allen wasn’t even at the facility) are pathetic and cowardly. Especially when they know that they’re using it as a weapon against people of color. I would never use this place again for any high level shoot because Allen Bari believes weaponizing the police over a conversation is the astute course of action.

Words cannot even adequately describe how amazing our experience was working with Hudson Table! We hosted our smaller-scale wedding on their rooftop location and everything was just magical and perfect! Anna was absolutely incredible to work with, always answering our questions promptly and accommodating all of our needs. The staff at Hudson Table were so attentive and wonderful to us and our guests. The highlight of our wedding was the food. Chef Koray blew away our expectations. All of our food items were meticulously designed and so unbelievably delicious. We also had a few dietary restrictions and requests, which were fully accommodated! We are so grateful to Hudson Table and their staff for their hospitality, generosity, and hard work. Our wedding was incredible and it was made possible thanks to Hudson Table! We recommend it fully to anyone and everyone who is looking for a smaller space to host an intimate wedding/event!
