Rita's Italian Ice - Hoboken

Whats not to like at Ritas!! Lol... Especially when its cheat day...

The folks at Rita's in Hoboken are awesome! Always very courteous to us and they always give pup cups to our Huskies! The dogs know what comes next when we walk to Rita's. When we walk home with a bag of custard pup cups, they go bonkers and are so excited for their treat! Thank you for bringing happiness to Hoboken one cup of custard at a time!

They redeemed themselves by changing the employees. Finally greeted with a smile and was really pleased with my service.

This was my first time in life trying Rita's, and I had heard great things about the chain. I ordered the strawberry watermelon ice and it was super refreshing. It's a little sweeter than the things I would normally care to eat but the flavor was good overall. My BF ordered the custard. It was also my first time trying any custard. It's too thick for my preference (and I know it's meant to be), but I mixed some custard with a bite of my ice and actually really enjoyed it. Apparently, there's a menu item that I missed that's Italian ice with a dollop of custard so I'll make sure I get that next time. Not sure if their Italian ice flavors rotate, but I hope so. Would love to see different flavors on there since strawberry watermelon was the only one that caught my eye.
