Everything is really good here! Eating and personal are great! we go here a lot, have never been disappointed and we are a big family that gets different things so that I can try many tellers, all well!

Passing through and happened to stop by so glad we did! The Carne Asada plate was FANTASTIC! Perfectly prepared and seasoned, great flavor, and the wild cactus strips grilled up with onion were amazing, and just the right complementary flavor.I'll definitely be back when passing this direction!

This was my first time trying El Rodeo and I was impressed. My cousin in Utopia has told me about it for years but I've never jumped in.The first thing I noticed was it was extremely busy and fast paced but folks that were coming in had a place to sit.They brought chips salsa right away. The chips were of the thicker, courser variety and I didn't find the salsa that flavorful although I sat there and ate it. The salsa did have some kick. It's not the place I would choose if I was wanting amazing chips salsa.They have a large menu and I was easily able to get a recommendation between a couple of items I was trying to decide between. I ordered the Parrilla for one which is chicken, beef, sausage, shrimp on a sizzling skillet. It includes your choice of corn or flour tortillas and comes with a side plate that includes charro beans, guacamole, pico.The food was really good but tough cuts of beef and chicken that could use more seasoning kept it from being great. They also load the plate up with mostly tomatoes, with a few onions and bell peppers thrown in.One thing about this place is the plates are huge and I would call easily shareable. I'm not just judging based on my plate but from the many plates that I saw come out from the kitchen.So...would I go back? I definitely would. But it would take me a while to work my way through the massive menu! ?

This restaurant has the best Mexican food! Always fresh, always good, the best service..always professional, courteous and kind. I have eaten at many Mexican restaurants in San Antonio, but there isno comparison for me. (and I am very picky and critical about food) Hondo has the best Mexican food at El Rodeo!

Great food and service. Fast !! Love the value. I brought home enough food for another meal.
