We ordered a set of hairy crab in 5 courses. I gave 4 stars for the food. The hairy crab was tasty. The service didn’t worth for paying this price. We felt like waiters pushing us to finish the meal asap. Although the waiter helped us to dismantle the crab.
Good food and service. Drunken chicken and glass noodles were ok but nothing to rave about.
The menu at Wu Kong Shanghai Restaurant is quite expensive but luckily the food was edible. It was very noisy so it took a while to adjust to the noisy settings. Here was what we had: Tofu filled with vegetables: This was delicate tofu filled with finely chopped vegetables which were not grassy but it was a bit too salty. Peking duck: The Peking duck is different to the UK ones because it was coated in corn starch and deep fried, but it was ok because the duck was meaty and soft.
Plenty of selection from the daily set lunch menu. $98 per person for an appetizer, main dish and a bowl of fried rice or Xiao Long Bao. The Xiao Long Bao was very good and the main dishes were acceptable.
