The Westerners are more aware of our bladder, their bigger ones, as they were not overpopulated, as the East is. It's called birth control. But still it's a good experience.
This was our best Dimsum place before 2020, pandemic time. The food is still well tested, but the price is much higher. Best after 11:00. Less chance to get the left dimsum from reheating
They were in service very quickly! The textures were amazing and it was also a very nice restaurant. They also offer a wonderful jasmine tea. If you stop in Honolulu China city, this is a must to go!
Fook Lam. Early shown to avoid the dimming sum, showed our vax cards, service was attentive, trays and carts were often around. Tea tasted amazing. The atmosphere was not packed, but apparently steady pace and filled quickly. Some of my favorites are the look fun (shrimp and beef), chicken feet were deep in taste and spices, gelal still delicate and sticky. deep roasted mochi with meat is a MUST. (Hardly remarkable in pictures) and shrimpberry, yes everything was delicious! Most likely the soup dumplings were, maybe my taste was honest, but the broth did not work for me. It is always an experience to eat dim sum. I respect the aunts very much.
Quick and delicious with a great variety of dishes! We were sat right away at 9:30am on a Sunday and had a full table of food within about 1 minute of sitting. The XLB was some of the best I've ever had and all the usual suspects were fantastic! Definitely recommend.
