Contribuisci feedbackConfirmed the reservation via open table and called the restaurant on the day before my reservation to ask to place the menu. it was said by restaurant that they will be closed for 2 weeks for vacation, and that they cannot accept my confirmed reservation. of course went to another place to dinner, but always received reminders, confirmation and rating request from open table for reservation that restaurant could not honor. me wonders about the communication between open table and restaurants and makes me worried about future reservations via open table.
No eating, dead quiet, perhaps because the restaurant had closed and will shift. would have been nice if open table or restaurant had disturbed to let our party know. do you not pay attention to the restaurant?...the restaurant closes to the bookings and open table to the restaurants?
Eating (saltado ceviche) was super, very tasty and dessert (choco-flan) to die.
Very good authentic Peruvian food, but too many insects fly around from the door open
This place is a family run business now with a permanent place tucked away in what was restaurant row. Bottomline-the food we had was very tasty and well made.we will go back just for the food. however, service is a little slow and one of our dinner orders never came out and we had to remind the staff of our order which Mimi-the matriarch and main cook went into the kitchen and cooked it up right away. no water.we had to ask for water then it came without ice. no alcohol.BYOB for sure. we ordered the only unique peruvian drink on the menu- no more despite all this we will go back because the food is so good and tasty. hats off to a great chef but the service really needs to be brought up to par.
