Good food, but a very long waiting period. They ran out of rice and we had to wait for an hour until we picked up.

Just get out. Well, our experience here was not pleasant, as almost everyone says they are. First, the price for the small portions was disappointing. If the food was good, it wouldn't have been a problem, but it warns. Had the... Gyoza, it was ok, typical roasted Gyoza, but the Ponzu sauce was terrible, it tasted like vinegar. Tempura was ok, regular tempura (bit expensive). The miso soup again normal miso, but the portion size was incredibly small, incredibly small. Now the Californian roles (my husband fav in every sushi restaurant) were not good, they lubricated as if they had added sugar or some kind of sweetener. My Hubby wouldn't eat her. The chicken Teriyaki was the sadst part of the meal. I love Chicken teriyaki. Price $16.95. It came with a tiny miso soup a small amount of rice, a small plop salad and the smallest part of the chicken teriyaki. If the chicken was cut a little thinner, I would have said it was the midday meat, maybe it was so salty that it was pretty infinity. The cabbage was also very salty. I say cabbage because I don't think there was any other veggie in this teriyaki, maybe an onion. The sauce was also salty and very limited, just a bit on the chicken. The entire food experience was very disappointing for a facility that people rate so high. Do I miss something?? I do not recommend this restaurant and I am totally for shopping/food on site, but come for the price you should have something decent that you at least finish, not something you never want to eat sushi again. At least not in Hope!!

The restaurant skimped on quality with their rice, which was not authentic Japanese rice but instead a cheap, generic brand. The salmon was also frozen, leaving a disappointing impression overall. While the service was good, the food was lacking. I will not be returning.

First time we discovered this restaurant. Food was tasty, service great and the place seemed authentic. We had Tempura, Sushi and Yakisoba noodles which all tasted great. Unfortunately only take out is possible at this time. Will visit again.
