El Jimador - Hot Springs Village

Give this place 5 STARS! Great atmosphere, the food was absolutely delicious (chips and salsa were also very delicious and the drinks are also great. Would come back!

Found this place over yelp and was great near Los Lagos where we lived. Many parking spaces in front of the restaurant. The dining area is huge and they also have a terrace. As a long weekend, the place was super crowded and therefore it took longer than expected to get our food. Overall a decent place to visit when in the hot Springs village neighborhood.

I wish they had pineapples and black olives, but the service and food was amazing. We ordered 2 lunch specials and a ranchero(shrimp, steak and chicken). They kept us topped off with chips, salsa and water. The portions were not over berring and the extra salantro was not too expensive (for a restaurant). I got almost exactly what I wanted and I would definitely go back.

Our tacos were delicious, had chickens and beef with crispy bowls. We ate here about six times. Not so good a few years back, but now very tasty. The chicken tortilla soup is wonderful!!!! I hope they keep this cook. The place is not very clean. We get our food, so we don't eat inside. Eating businesses should never have carpet. Can't sanitate carpet. New tile floors would help much!!!

Very nice Mexican restaurant. Casual atmosphere. You'll get all the chips and salsa you can eat. The meal was wonderful and authentic. Chimichanga chicken came on with a cheese sauce. The cheese sauce is very delicious. I kind of remembered an Alfredo sauce. Great service. Update. Had the Steak Fajitas tonight. The best I had! It was so good. They were really busy tonight, but their service was still excellent. Thanks, El Jimador for another great meal.
