I'm not sure what the deal was because when we came, there weren't too many people yet, but we were sitting there quite a bit in front of our drinks order and at that point we were ready to send our whole order that still took the kitchen time to send every course. Our waiter, for his part, did his best to get the food to us, but my husband's Lasagna ticket was somehow lost, so they had to make it new and when they came out cold. The manager at least calculated the price of his meals, but I'm not sure what happened last night. They were apologetic and I ate here before I know that their service is usually good, but if it were my first time, I would probably not come back. I hope that I will convince my husband to visit again, we will have a better experience
The main dishes tasted great. The Fatuccine Weesie and the fall special pasta (spaghetti carbonara with chicken? The wort for the oil was fantastic, they should bottle and sell it. Bread was also beautiful. The appetizer was also good, had beautiful aromas on it. The salads were a bit of lack of shine, seemed like an afterthought, the Cesar Dressing was a little watery, with the Italian. Servers did them best, they could, there were 2 calls from servers on a Saturday night. A good option to eat on a date, or just to get some good food.
I am usually a Carrabas regular, but my last order was subpar. I usually order the chicken trio and it was very small and had much less taste than usual. Is it under new management or is the economy that puts our foods at the same price? I was very unimpressed with the cheesecake and the side of the caesar salad as well. The cheesecake was almost $10 and was nothing too proud and the salad was not according to usual standards. I won't be back soon if management can do this right.
Monthly lunch with a friend and his so nice to sit in a quiet restaurant with good food and good service. The waiters don't seem to disturb our 2-21⁄2 lunch... for a good tip of course? Might I suggest the fatuccine weesie, it's so delicious! And I love the spice mix for bread.
Food was subpar at best. Upcharge for sides with no notice. Service was good. No rolled silverware. One small meatball on a huge plate of spaghetti for the kids. Also there's a mixed beverage tax??? Save your money and go to Olive Garden.
