We could not stop talking about how cute it was and how BEAUTIFUL all the pastries looked, and don?t worry, they tasteevery bit as good as they look! We tried the pumpkin croissant and kouign-amann! The coffee was amazing and the service was evenbetter! Their Guest Service Supervisor, Kadesia, was wonderful and super friendly!! She made us feel right at home and we?ll becoming back for more next time we?re in Houston!
I ordered the Greek Honey Almond Balsamic Gelato, a Walnut Chocolate Chip Cookie, some Hibiscus Lemonade and a Lemon Gateau (good but tangy af)... oh and some French Toast with strawberries and such?
Kadesia and the whole staff at Common Bond med center are always so welcoming and helpful. I was on a weekend trip with a friend and visited several times throughout the trip. Each time was a treat. Great food and even better service. Wish theywere in Dallas but I?ll be back!
The staff was very kind and our macarons were fresh and delicious. The chocolate chip cookie (which I loved at their other location) had too much flour and was super cakey?didn?t end up finishing it. Our Bundt cake was also very dry. The inside isspacious and there are a lot of tables to do some work but for the price of these pastries, I wish the quality was a lotbetter.
The only disappointing part of my experience here is that I live 3 hours from this place. This almost instantly became our brunch go to spot on a weekend girl's trip. The food was almost too perfect to eat. All of the ingredients were so fresh and thepastries and dishes were beautifully presented it was nearly impossible to decide what to get with all of the delicious foodchoices. The staff greets you upon entry, and even remembered our group from the day before! I will definitely go out of my wayto come back here the next time I am in Houston.
