Contribuisci feedback14. February 2023 of course was Valentine's Day, but it was also my husband and I was 24th anniversary. I drew attention to the person who took my reservation, the host also knew it. When we went to our table, he said Happy Anniversary. That was nice, but at the end of dinner I expected the restaurant to do something special, such as bringing out a dessert plate with a candle and writing happy anniversary on the plate or something, but nothing. Very disappointing. As far as food, in all honesty it was not delicious like Capital Grill or Del Frisco’s or even Perry’s. I thought Morton was at the same level, but they weren't, in my opinion. I'm probably not going back. At least not alone. Someone should invite us to come with them. But overall I give the restaurant a score of 7. Monica Corey Williams
Morton’s got the job DONE you hear me! As soon as you walk in the restaurant prepare yourself for an experience. You must have appetizers, we ordered the wagyu meatballs and lobster ravioli. 2 thumbs up! We are not steak lovers but wanted to have a great experience and some great drinks. The sidecars are a must! For our main course we ordered the prime ribeye. Now we wanted to try the Cajun style but we didn’t want to overdo the taste with the enhancements. I ordered my steak med, don’t quote me I’m not a connoisseur, my server gave the assist! I wanted it pink in the middle but no blood, with garlic butter on top. Now I did try the peppercorn sauce on top the last visit and I do recommend it, I just wanted to try something different this time. Babe got his med well Oscar style. I recommend the smoked gouda potatoes and the asparagus was delicious! Oh and please save room for dessert, the key lime pie is decadent and a delicious ending to a beautiful evening. Enjoy!
It was our anniversary and they made the moment so very special.
Something else happened in contrast to our many visits in the past. The waiter has our interest in ordering the menu, but seemed to us determined to order his recommendation, which was a very bad choice for us. They could not go wrong with this well-known gristal-poor steak, but we would like it if I explained what we wanted, so bring it out. The crushed knife made it like cutting a hard piece of wood with a boring saw. That was a Valentine's Day celebration and I was embarrassed as I was interested in my date. We then complained when he was so sad and would fix this problem, and even though I told him I liked to cut my steak with my fork when he had only the steak that had again a harder quality of steak with considerable fat more on it than in the flesh, so he failed again. We ate a few pieces and cut off the fat to take with us if he comments on something later. I answered for my dogs. I hate to say it, but it seems that someone has tried to go from inferior meat to faten the lower line. I had better steak at Golden Corall. Duane P.S. I recommend who is responsible for the Awgrotten style potatoes, check out Willie Gee's, as we were hardly impressed by them. The onion soup was killer.
The service was amazing from my first contact with Eric before the arrival, Alex at the beginning of our service and Thomas did an amazing task to give recommendations that were great, diligent to the needs and ensure that our visit was wonderful! I will certainly return to this place. Thank you.
