Pappasito's Cantina - Houston

This is one of my favorite Pappasito's locations. The service is excellent, the restaurant is very clean, and I really enjoy the outdoor patio area. Be sure to ask for the green salsa when you visit. They usually only bring out the red salsa with the chips, but they do have a green one that is absolutely amazing!

Next, we had Carri as our server, and she was a ray of sunshine, always smiling and offering fantastic food recommendations. The queso was absolutely delicious—warm and perfectly paired with ultra-thin, crispy chips. The salsa was also warm and packed with flavor, featuring a delightful smoky taste that was just right. Carri took exceptional care of us and was truly outstanding in her role. Sebastian, who brought out our food, was equally kind and cheerful, with a contagious smile that lit up the room. Last but not least, the sweet and beautiful manager, Xena, who is about to welcome a baby in a week, was guiding her team effortlessly and with great attention to detail. When I complimented her on her wonderful team, she responded with humility and kindness. It was a pleasure to dine in a restaurant filled with a wonderfully diverse crowd all enjoying fantastic Tex-Mex cuisine, laughter, and satisfied appetites—ours included! If you love nachos and tinga chicken, definitely ask for the nachos with tinga—it’s a must-try! My husband also had the red snapper taco, which was unlike any fish taco we've ever encountered, and we've had quite a few. The tortilla was incredibly fresh and felt homemade, yet it was perfectly thin—simply perfection. We will definitely be returning!

We dined here for dinner, and as always it was great. I love the TexMex atmosphere. The servers were neatly dressed. The restaurant was clean, even the restrooms were clean. My servers name was Bryson. He was so attentive and thorough. He was very patient with the modifications to the order for my children. we didn't have to wait on anything. Our drinks were refilled in a timely manner, and our request was granted. The food was phenomenal. We got lamb chops, the family platter fajita, and the house margarita. I can't wait to come back.

Located in the westside near City Centre. Pappasito's is always a solid choice for Tex Mex in terms of being a chain restaurant; the food is dependable and pretty consistent although inflation has really made everything too expensive. Their queso is spot on and their beef fajitas are tender and cooked nicely. Sure, it is a bit of a manufactured operation being part of a large chain, but it's always delivered a decent meal. Service is prompt and on point. Not much to say about the ambiance besides that they do have both indoors and outdoor seating, which is a nice touch.

The beef fajitas are so tender and cooked to perfection! The garlic butter takes it to the next level, the freshly made tortillas smell as good as they taste, and the warm salsa- need I say more?! Service was good. Plenty of seating, casual attire works great here or dress up for a date- works either way!
