We ordered the two-piece fish dinner, which came with macaroni and cheese, sweet yams, and surprisingly, a side of rice. We also tried the neck bone gravy over the rice, along with Tropical Punch Kool-Aid and lemon cake. I have to say, everything was absolutely amazing! The fish was cooked to perfection, and the texture and flavor were just right. The yams and macaroni were comforting and satisfying, while the lemon cake was moist and delightful. The Kool-Aid brought back memories from my childhood; it was just perfect. My daughter and I loved every part of this experience, and we can’t wait to go back soon!

This is a fantastic little soul food spot! The staff is incredibly friendly, and I have to say, the chicken is outstanding—so good it could rival any other chicken restaurant! It's even better than Popeyes, and the prices are unbeatable! Every day, you can get a two-piece meal with a side for just $2.69. On Wednesdays and Thursdays, it's only $1.88 for a two-piece meal with a choice of mashed potatoes or French fries. The atmosphere is so welcoming, and you'll truly have a wonderful experience!

The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming, but don't expect 5 STAR service. I dropped in for lunch and with plenty staff, I had to wait to order. The recommendation was the fried ribs, which were really good, but nothing was extremely special. On myplate, I had: Fried Ribs: 3.5 Rice Gravy: 3 Yams: 4 Greens Beans: 3.5 Grape Kool-aid and Cobbler: 5!

Great local dining spot! I enjoyed the smothered chicken with mashed potatoes topped with brown gravy, collard greens, cornbread, and yams. My friend tried the smothered pork chops along with rice and the same vegetables. We had plenty of leftovers to take home. Definitely worth a visit!

Wow! Meatloaf was not the real ground beef. Processed meat patty. They put four on top of rice with water down red sauce gravy. Had to take meat off as you see in pictures. Tried to eat veggies and they where canned collard greens, taste out of can. Theonly thing was good was the red beans, which was on point. For the price I paid I was disappointed.
