The ad near the register had some deserts I could try in my next visit. The menu is simple and direct. I saw some sandwiches and soups, people got and they looked good. Unlike La Madeleine, you need to place your order and in most cases pick up from the counter. The presentation gets a B. The monogram plates were a nice note. My omelette didn't run with a small bottle and that's a plus. The waffle was perfectly cooked, golden brown and the syrup and berries with whipped cream brought the right balance of sweet and hearty. This is a place where you would go as an alternative to your weekend breakfast place. Not every weekend, but if your regular spot is stuffed with people, this could be your pocket.
The decor is sweet. The music is soft enough that you can actually have a conversation. Many old couples with breakfast there, this is really sweet and chilled. The service is fast and efficient. The cash register is personal. The food is delicious, although the part can be met or miss. You need to get their pancakes, really great bang for the Buck, huge, soft and fluffy, not too sweet. I loved the culinary experience
I've been coming to the French house for decades. I love her cookies! I feel very comfortable when I come here. If I have visitors from the city The French house is always one of our stations.
