Tiny's No. 5 - Houston

Great restaurant, at first when you go inside, there is a board right of you and the menu is on it : you choose your order and pay, then employees give you a number and you sit your chair. When your meal is ready, they will bring to your table. System is efficient and meals are very fast. Thank you with your good menu and serving.

Tinys No5 has been my favorite local restaurant for many years and in dining there today post-remodel and menu makeover, I was so disappointed. There have been many changes to the menu, and for the first time ever the food was poor quality. Their turkey avocado sandwich was tiny with two slices of deli turkey and regular wheat bread and the fries were soggy and tasteless. They reportedly got rid of the kouign amann, most scones, and other beloved menu items. The remodel looks lovely, but the ordering process is less efficient. Would love to return if things go back to their usual, amazing quality and charm! Service was great, as always. I miss the old Tinys!!

They have updated the chairs. A plus. They got rid of order in line. A plus. They still lack enough staff. So still slow. The coffee is still weird. It should be delicious. They don’t give you spoons to mix your cream into coffee. They don’t bring plates to share the pastry tray. Also, the tables are too small for four people. So uncomfortable. It’s a beautiful place. A huge plus.

Great food and wonderful service. Had couple of business meetings there and they took care of us really well.
