Very expensive, poor quality and poor service. We were very excited to try this restaurant, the menu looked promising and the reviews were excellent. We liked the environment and decor, there was a musician to welcome us. We ordered mussels, shrimps, fish chips and salad. The mussels were not fresh, overcooked. The shrimps were drenched in sauce and the fries were too soft. On top of it all, the deserts were not even made on site. I understand times were hard for restaurants for the past year and a half, but you have to do better than that to have us back.

I absolutely loved the decor and ambiance of the place, they also have a lovely terrace to sit outdoors for cocktails or food. Was there for brunch, beautiful presentation, good service but mostly I was just so pleased to sit and admire my surroundings, will be back for dinner with friends in the near futur of that I am certain.

My husband and I were in Hudson for one night only, and were enjoying a drive and thought we’d stop at Le Cozy Cafe Bistro for a bite. We had the Elk appetizer, duck salad and butternut squash curry .... all delicious. The curry was wonderfully presented, the kale was delicious and the curry Was oh so yummy! The duck was perfectly seared with a raspberry purée and wonderful greens. Peaches and cream creme brûlée with espresso for dessert. Cannot recommend enough ....

Went for dinner family of three. Ordered our meals and an appetizer. Our plates showed up with no appetizer arriving prior. I reminded the waitress and she asked if we still wanted the app we declined. No “sorry”. Just “oh ok then” I had to ask for our empty water to be refilled on multiple occasions. My house salad was nothing more than a handful of baby spinach thrown into a bowl. I do this when in a rush to get out the door in the am from a bag of spinach from Costco. At least I’m not charging myself close to 10 bucks for I though. When I asked the server what vegetables came with the steak her answer was “I don’t know.” Ordered desert for 2 and coffee for 2 never offered a refill on our coffees either. 130.00 after tax and tip for 3 meals , two deserts and two brewed coffees. Happy to spend when going out but give me something for my money. Really underwhelming experience the place is trying hard to have a vibe but should get back to basics and focus on fundamentals.
