Chuck’s Roadhouse Grill - Huntsville

The food was very, the burger was tasty and portioned sizes were decent. every thing was done in time. the icy was a little water down, but that happened. it was a good place to recommend eating in total.

This place might buiest place in summer time, but in Spring the almost end of March, there is not much customer visit. Food is not too bad but the other side, not too good. I ordered steak bite. it came out rare. I prefer midium well done. I asked waiter to cook again. He serves well and kind, but not smooth. (in my opinion, he is like rookie and young person) I am not blame the waiter. but the food is not what I expected in what other recommened.

Used to be 5 stars * only 3 stars cause its no longer cheap to go to. Excellent place to go for a hangout. Has went up in price a lot. Used to be decent price. Now aside from their $7 chuck burger. It's comparable prices to everywhere else unfortunately. The lower prices is what first brought people to chucks. Especially their $20 ribeye. Now it's $30 and that's a pretty massive price hike.

My past experiences with Chuck's Roadhouse in Huntsville have been worth a decent rating, but unfortunately not this time. My order was for pick up and they estimated a pick up time of 40 mins from my order, which was fair enough. When I went to pick up, I was told my order was next up and would be another 5-10 minutes. Again, fair. My patience wore out though when I had to wait another 20 minutes on top of that for a total of 30 minutes beyond the 40 minutes from when the order was placed. The lady who brought the food out was insincere with her apology and excuse, but I understand not everyone is having a good day. This is where the low rating comes in however. Both fish orders were overcooked, the fries were dry and tasted like they had been sitting around since lunch. The take out tray was melted through where the fish had been placed. Not every restaurant specializes in fish orders so maybe my fault for poor choice of order. The wings and spinach dip appetizer on the other hand, should have at least been worth the wait. Chicken wings were dry and off (covered in tons of sauce though), spinach dip was watery, and pita bread was burned. Almost all went into the trash, which I am never happy about. I hate to leave a negative review when businesses are struggling, but I hope this review will help management assess their restaurant and make changes before they lose another customer.

Good food. The servers are attentative, and make sure everything is exactly as wanted. Even with masks you could see their smiles. Gorgeous decor. Just make sure a hockey game isn't playing, it tends to get a little loud ?
